Lindenhurst Memorial Day Parade

Lindenhurst's annual Memorial Day observance opens with ceremonies at Fireman's Memorial Park at 10 a.m., followed by the parade at 11 a.m. The route goes west on Hartford Street and south on North Wellwood Avenue, ending with a noon observance at Lindenhurst Village Hall. One of the South Shore's longest-running Memorial Day parades, the event draws several thousand spectators each year.
