Brookhaven IDA has finalized incentives for Integrated Structures' $8.375 million expansion at 17 Old Dock Road in Yaphank. The project adds 11 jobs paying $80,000 average.

As Long Island builders gear up for strong growth in industrial projects this year, the Town of Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency has closed a key deal to boost local manufacturing right now.
The **Brookhaven IDA** approved and closed economic incentives on January 22, 2026, for Integrated Structures, a North Bellport steel fabricator at 4 Pinehurst Drive. The company is buying a vacant 19,000-square-foot building on 2.3 acres at **17 Old Dock Road in Yaphank**, formerly home to WRS Environmental Services. Total project cost: **$8.375 million**, including $4.8 million purchase and renovations.
Integrated Structures, with 62 employees now, plans to hire **11 more jobs** within two years after renovations. These positions average **$80,000 per year**. Work starts soon, with an **18-month** completion timeline.
IDA support includes mortgage and sales tax exemptions plus a 10-year payment-in-lieu-of-taxes deal. This marks the second IDA assist for the firm, after their 2021 $4 million buy at Pinehurst. "We are pleased... to assist Integrated Structures as it brings highly-skilled, well-paying manufacturing jobs to our town," said **Frederick Braun**, Brookhaven IDA chairman. "Attracting and retaining companies like Integrated Structures is essential in keeping the Brookhaven economy competitive."
Brookhaven's push fits broader trends, with industrial expansions eyed for 2026 alongside housing and infrastructure like Suffolk's sewer projects.
