The beloved Huntington pizza spot has opened its first Nassau County location in Oyster Bay, taking over the former Umberto's on Main Street with a wood-fired menu locals have been chasing for years.

One of Huntington''s most beloved pizza spots has crossed the county line. Dough & Co., the Main Street staple that built a loyal following over years in Huntington Village, has officially opened a new location in Oyster Bay — its first foray into Nassau County and a clear signal that its reputation extends well beyond Suffolk''s North Shore.
The new Dough & Co. took over the space on Main Street in Oyster Bay formerly occupied by Umberto''s, a name well-known to Long Islanders. The transition represents a passing of the torch in a village that has seen its dining scene evolve considerably over the past decade. The Oyster Bay location is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, according to Greater Long Island, which first reported the opening.
Dough & Co. built its following in Huntington on the strength of its wood-fired pies and quality ingredients. The restaurant''s menu leans into the craft pizza lane — thinner crusts, thoughtful toppings, fresh mozzarella — without the pretension that sometimes accompanies that approach. The Huntington location became a go-to for both families and date-night crowds, a difficult balance to strike in a competitive restaurant market.
The Oyster Bay menu is largely identical to the Huntington original, which regulars will see as a feature, not a bug. New diners in Nassau County now have access to the same pies that drove word-of-mouth buzz across the North Shore for years.
Oyster Bay has long been a day-trip destination for Long Islanders drawn to its Sagamore Hill National Historic Site — Theodore Roosevelt''s Summer White House — and its walkable downtown. In recent years, the village has worked to strengthen its dining and retail corridor along Main Street, and Dough & Co. fits squarely into that effort.
The North Shore has seen notable restaurant activity throughout 2026. Provisions Market is also eyeing the Oyster Bay area, and over in Smithtown, The Chas. debuted this spring in the former Carrabba''s space along Route 347. For a stretch of Nassau that sometimes flew under the culinary radar compared to neighboring Cold Spring Harbor and Northport, the momentum is real.
Dough & Co.''s Oyster Bay location is accessible via the LIRR''s Oyster Bay branch — a roughly 55-minute ride from Penn Station. The station sits a short walk from the Main Street restaurant strip. By car, the village is easily reachable via the Northern State Parkway or Routes 106 and 107.
For longtime fans of the Huntington original, the new Oyster Bay outpost means shorter drives and shorter waits. For Nassau County residents who hadn''t made the trek east, consider this your long-overdue introduction. Dough & Co. is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Check their social media channels for current hours and specials as the new location settles in.
