From the North Fork to the South Shore, markets are reopening across Nassau and Suffolk counties — and several have new vendors, extended hours, and fresh additions for 2026.
Garden City Farmers Market returns to Seventh Street on Saturdays starting April 19, running 8am–1pm through November. New this year: a dedicated local honey row and a rotating LI winery pop-up every other weekend.
Oyster Bay Farmers Market opens April 26 at Audrey Avenue. The market added three new produce vendors for 2026 and extended its hours to 9am–2pm.
Long Beach Boardwalk Market kicks off May 3 along the boardwalk, bringing back its popular prepared foods section with new Latin and Korean street food vendors joining the lineup.
Greenport Farmers Market on the North Fork is one of the best on the Island — it reopens May 10 at Mitchell Park, Saturdays 9am–1pm. Expect locally caught fish, North Fork wines, and heirloom vegetable starts.
Huntington Village Farmers Market returns to New York Avenue on Sundays starting April 27, 9am–2pm. It's one of the largest year-round markets on LI, and spring brings a surge of flower vendors worth arriving early for.
Babylon Village Market reopens April 20 on Deer Park Avenue, Sundays 9am–1pm. Local bakers, specialty mushroom growers, and a rotating food truck round out the lineup.
